Lauren Freeman, Teacher
Lauren graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art with an emphasis in sculpture from California State University of Long Beach. Although her collegiate emphasis was on sculpture, she is equally as passionate about painting and illustration. Her admiration for abstract contemporary art has led her to explore the use of color, distortion and video art in her own work. Her belief is that the consistent and continued process of making art is the fastest path toward becoming a better artist. Lauren hopes to someday work in television developing educational shows for children. She is passionate about helping those children that love art as much as she did growing up, and is thrilled to be able to support them throughout their process!
